P2p İzmir: Workshop at K2 Izmir, 22nd-25th February 2007
Monday, February 12, 2007

The peer2peer workshop in Izmir invites participating artists from Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Turkey, to explore material and human parables extending from the terminology of file-sharing and open collaborative networking.
During a 4 day workshop we will build our “site”. This will act as an experimental structure to invite continued meetings and practice. Participating workshop peers will suggest a “production/activity” to be executed and developed collaboratively in dialogue at site.

Issues and topics to explore in relation: open and closed peer structures for sharing of im/material goods, client-server/peer relations, personal experience of collaborations, political-economical realities of open source culture
